A former Alaska principal has been charged after police allegedly found a collection of child pornography in his possession, including an animated video designed to introduce children to having sex with adults.

Police claim to have seized video and still footage from the man's Independence Park home that include bestiality and bondage involving babies and young children. The images had been downloaded from the Internet and stored on multiple computers in the man's home. Police say that they include some of the most violent images of child pornography they have ever seen.

Among the videos alleged to be in the man's collection is one that shows a woman being killed. Police are still determining whether or not the footage is real.

The man had been a junior and high school physics teacher throughout Alaska. According to his resume, which police also found in one of his computers, he had worked in school districts in Galena, Noorvik and Anderson. A school district representative confirmed that he had also been employed by the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District from 1995 until 2000, as both a principal and teacher in Nanwalek, and as a principal in Anchor Point.

Most recently, he had been an assistant principal at Heritage Christian School -- a South Anchorage school with 175 students. School administrator Patrick Hadley said that the man had resigned for personal reasons last December.

"My goodness, I need to pray for him," Hadley said. "It's an awful thing to be in the middle of, regardless of whether he's guilty or not guilty."

According to prosecutors's files, the investigation started after the man brought his Apple laptop to CompUSA in South Anchorage for repairs. A technician, who was also a computer specialist for the FBI, found the images while repairing the computer and alerted police.

Frederick Charles Deussing, 64, was charged with 12 counts of possessing child pornography. He made his first appearance in an Anchorage court room on Wednesday, where his bail was set at $15,000.
