Warner Bros. has pushed the release of The Ant Bully up a week. The animated movie will now come out July 28. The film is about a little boy who gets shrunk to the size of an ant after he destroys an ant hill.
In contrast, Paramount Pictures has delayed the release of their animated film Barnyard a week to August 4. The movie deals with animal hijinks at a farm.
The move is seen as a courtesy so that the two animated films won't directly compete with each other at the box office.
In other news, some live action flick called Superman Returns comes out two days early on June 28.
