The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons is demanding that Nestle pulls a Cars-themed ice cream bar from store shelves. They allege the treat will make dangerous driving habits attractive to children under 12.

Nestle, in a promotional tie-in with Disney/Pixar for the animated film Cars, is offering "Burnouts," a chocolate-flavoured bar shaped like a tire. The ice cream treat sits on a stick.

Dr. Rob Atkinson, the medical college's spokesman on road trauma, alleges the product gives the wrong message to kids. He also points out that drivers caught doing burnouts are subject to fines and even jail time in most Australian states.

There's no word on whether the College also proposes to ban Grand Theft Auto console games, sports cars or testosterone.
