Four new DVD's, three of them from Disney. Here they are, in order of release:
- Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?: the popular computer game-turned-TV show comes to DVD. Due June 13.
- Talespin: Volume 1: The Jungle Book's Baloo as a cargo pilot? Ack. Let's hope Pixar handles Disney's animation properties better in the future. Due August 29, direct pre-book July 3, distributor pre-book July 18.
- Darkwing Duck: Volume 1: I can see the writers' pitch for this now: "It's Batman! But as a duck!" *sigh*. Due August 29, direct pre-book July 3, distributor pre-book July 18.
- The Tick: Season 1: "Like a great blue salmon of Justice, the mighty Tick courses upstream to the very spawning ground of evil!" Unfortunately, this is *not* the complete Season 1; legal snafus meant that an episode is missing. But in case you hadn't figured it out yet, The Tick rocks. Due August 29, direct pre-book July 3, distributor pre-book July 18.
