Due May 30. - Alf Tales: Alf and the Beanstalk (LG): "Alf retells classic stories with his uniquely comical twist." Believe me, I wish I was making this **** up. Due May 30. - The Animation Show Box (Paramount): A showcase of "some of the world's best short films." Hosted by Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt. Due September 9. - Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book 1 Vol. 3 (Paramount): The Japanese are nuts for this, and Paramount hopes North Americans will be too. Four more adventures in one DVD, and no extras. Due May 30. - The Batman: Complete 2nd Season (DC): More of Gotham's finest. Only one "exciting" extra: a DVD doc called Catching Up With The Batman: Inside Season 2. Due September 26. - Broken Saints (Fox): The highly acclaimed fantasy-horror epic makes its way to a 4-DVD box set. Due August 1. - Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids - Original Animated Series - Vol. 3 (Urbanworks): 1970's-era Saturday morning cartoon comes to DVD. Now to get that **** song out of my head! Due May 30. - Flash Gordon: The Complete Series (BCI): This is the 1979-81 cartoon version, made by the same guys who brought you He-Man. That should tell you all you need to know. Due July 18. - Hong Kong Phooey: The Complete Series (HB): "Hong Kong Phooey! Number one super guy!" Due August 15. - Joe Cartoon: Beyond the Blender (BCI): Now with "Press & 'Splode" feature, which allows you to slaughter frogs and gerbils with your remote control. Not for the faint of heart, or queasy of stomach. Due August 8. - Magilla Gorilla: The Complete Series (HB): All 23 cartoons. Due August 15. - Legend of Prince Valiant: Complete Series Volume 1 (BCI): The 1991 animated series comes to DVD. Due July 4. - Queer Duck: The Movie (Paramount): The adventures of an openly gay duck. Due July 18. - The Best of She-Ra: Princess of Power (BCI): Apparently a fan-driven collection, this set includes the feature film, The Secret of the Sword. Due July 18. - Superman: The Ultimate Max Fleischer Collection (VCI): "Look! Up in the sky!" The classic WWII-era cartoons come to DVD. Due May 30. - Teen Titans: Complete 2nd Season (DC): They're teens! They're titans! Anything else you want to know? Due September 26. - Tom & Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers (Warner): All new animated, direct-to-DVD movie. Be afraid, be very afraid. Due August 22 - Wayans Family Presents: Thugaboo Sneaker Madness (Nickelodeon): The Wayans go kid-friendly. Is this one of the signs of the Apocalypse? Due August 29. That's all for now.
