The good folks at Coming Soon have scored a clip from the DreamWorks/Aardman collaboration Flushed Away, which hits theatres this Friday, November 3rd. The clip features the villainous Toad (voiced by Sir Ian McKellen) getting cuddly with some rather toothy-looking tadpoles. You can check out the clip over here. Dig the tadpole at bottom right who clunks into the glass.

We'll see how this movie pans out in theatres: there have been rumours of a highly-troubled working relationship between DreamWorks and Aardman Animation (the guys who brought you Wallace and Gromit) during the making of this movie, culminating in the studios cutting short their three-picture collaboration. Such a messy relationship doesn't make for good moviemaking: apparently Aardman was irritated with DreamWorks' continual attempts to mess with the script, while DreamWorks thought Flushed Away (like Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit) was too British for American audiences.
