Dreamworks' Flushed Away SiteThis feature's official site is online with Storylines, Stills, a Trailer, and Making-Of featurette
Flushed Away, starring the voices of Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis, is online and pitching before its November 3 release.
(Source: Flushed Away) The official site for Dreamworks/Aardman Studios feature film Flushed Away is up. It features a detailed storyline, stills from the flick, exclusive wallpapers, buddy icons, signature files, a "making-of" featurette, and a "brand new trailer" (basically #2, which I talked about here). It's not bad, but won't convert anyone who isn't already stoked to see this flick. In case you were wondering, Aardman Studios is best known for the successful Wallace & Gromit series. The difference between Flushed Away and previous Aardman efforts is that this movie is rendered in CG, not clay. This made it faster for Aardman to put out product (their movie Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit took 5 years to produce), especially since their studio burned down just before Were-Rabbit's premiere. It remains to be seen how much of Aardman's distinctive touch remains in CG (no fingerprints, I'm sure) but I'm still looking forward to seeing this in theatres. Flushed Away opens November 3.
