Fox using all its assets to build audience for upcoming The Simpsons feature film, due in July 2007.
(source:icv2.com) Fox is taking no chances with its upcoming feature film, The Simpsons. The studio plans to use all its assets to promote the movie, based on Matt Groening's long-running animated TV show. Everything from TV network, satellite TV, book, home video, and licensing operations will be used to build an audience for the film, and to use that interest to strengthen other divisions of the company, according to reports. Fox said they will also unveil a "pulse campaign" to coincide with the November, February and May ratings sweeps. The Simpsons movie will hit theatres in July 2007.
