Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties and Cars come to DVD.
(Source: DVD Active) Fox Home Video has released the artwork for Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, which will hit DVD shelves on October 10. While the box advertises "non-stop fun for the whole family!" I had non-stop fun reading the back cover, especially when the box proudly proclaims that this "winning franchise" made "$26 million box office!" Fox didn't admit how much this flick cost to make, but I'd be very surprised if Garfield recouped its investment (most films average $35 million to make). Cars hits DVD shelves on November 7. The cover art (pictured) shows Owen Wilson's Lightning McQueen character as even bigger than the film logo. This isn't too surprising, considering Cars' commercial tie-ins have been far more successful than the actual film itself. In other news, Ultimate Disney also got its hands on the cover art for Funny Factory: Goofy Volume 3 and Funny Factory: Huey, Dewey and Louie Volume 4.
