Garfield trailer on web

Well shave my head and call me Col. Kurtz. Garfield sequel's trailer is at Coming Soon. The horror, the horror.

File this under "Why, God, Why?" I avoided the original Garfield when it came out in 2004, knowing that it was going to suck the big one. With an average IMDb vote of 4.8/10, it seems not many people who actually saw it recommended it to their friends.

Anyway, this cinematic cow flop somehow spawned a sequel, called Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, due July 16. In this flick, they do their own version of The Prince and the Pauper. Because, you know that nothing is more original than mining classic literature for laughs.

Twentieth Century Fox has released one of the trailers for Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties at Coming Soon. I say *one* of the trailers because I suffered through two of them (watched back-to-back!) when reviewing Over the Hedge. Suffice to say that this experience had me wanting to offer violence to anyone involved in making this movie. Slowly. And with great glee.

Anyway, a trailer is now on the web. Check it out, and let us know what you think. Just realize that no force on earth will make me pay money to see this thing.
