Desperate Housewives star voicing dual role in film adaptation of Neil Gaiman bestseller.
(Source:comingsoon.net) Laika Entertainment seems to be generating some serious star power for their upcoming stop-motion adaptation of Neil Gaiman's 2002 best seller Coraline. The production company announced that Teri Hatcher will voice the dual role of Coraline's mom, opposite Dakota Fanning as Coraline. They Might Be Giants will be writing songs for the movie as well. Henry Selick (James and the Giant Peach) adapted the script from Neil Gaiman's book. Coraline is the story of a young girl who finds herself in a sinister parallel universe where her parents have buttons sewn on their eyes. This news, combined with the upcoming live-action version of Stardust starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert DeNiro and Claire Danes, means Gaiman fans (like yours truly) have a lot to look forward in movieland.
