Hellboy: Sword of Storms trailer
Mignola and Del Toro team up for animated Hellboy flick
The trailer for the upcoming animated DVD Hellboy: Sword of Storms is now online.

As I'm sure you've read before, Guillermo Del Toro and Mike Mignola have teamed up to produce two animated Hellboy sequels. The first direct-to-DVD flick, entitled Sword of Storms, now has its own website which features a teaser trailer.
This trailer doesn't have a lot in terms of plot exposition: it mostly features Hellboy throwing down against assorted Japanese nasties to a heavy-metal soundtrack, Liz looking cute while waving a big gun, and Abe looking all . . . Abe like.
Of course IDT Entertainment wants all the fanboys to know that director Del Toro and Hellboy creator Mignola are firmly on board, as are the voices of original cast members Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Selma Blair (Liz) and Doug Jones (Abe). This last may confuse some people, as Jones only wore the costume in the 2004 live-action movie; an uncredited David Hyde-Pierce did the voice.
Overall, it does what a trailer is supposed to do: raise excitement for the flick while not giving everything away. Fun stuff.
