On January 23rd, The Invincible Iron Man will come to DVD shelves. The third movie in Marvel's highly successful direct-to-DVD animated movies, The Invincible Iron Man follows wealthy industrialist Tony Stark as he uncovers a buried Chinese city and accidentally awakens an ancient evil that his alter ego Iron Man must defeat.

Marvel's line of animated direct-to-DVD movies have been praised for their adherence to storylines in the original comics, and their willingness to show action and violence that could not be shown on network TV.

The Invincible Iron Man DVD will have a number of extras, including one called "Origin of Iron Man" and another, "The Hall of Iron Man Armor." There's also an alternate opening plus a preview of the next Marvel animated feature, Dr. Strange.
