Q: "How much is too much Looney Tunes?"

A: "Nothing! You can never have too much Looney Tunes!!!!!" AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"*

Warner Bros. will unleash more Looney Tunes insanity on November 14, when it brings out another 4-disc set of the classic cartoon shorts, fully remastered and uncut.

As with the previous 3 collections, each disc is gathered into themes. Disc 1 showcases the ever-popular, ever-cross-dressing Bugs Bunny, with 15 classic shorts including 1958's Oscar-winning Knighty Knight Bugs. Disc 2 purports to be about Porky Pig, but is really about the genius of legendary animator Frank Tashlin, who gave animation a more cinematic quality.

Mexico's favourite mouse, Speedy Gonzales, rocks Disc 3, which includes such Oscar-nominated shorts as Tabasco Road, Mexicali Shmoes and the Pied Piper of Guadalupe. And Disc 4 showcases various feline follies.

Extras include documentaries, "Behind the Tunes" featurettes, music-only tracks, vault selections and other rare shorts.

For those who find the Golden Collections ' $64.98 MSRP too daunting, WB will also release Spotlight Collections Volume 4 that same day. This 2-disc set features many of the classic shorts in the bigger box, and sells for $26.99 MSRP.

My thought? If you have the $$$, pony up for the big set. There's too much good stuff on there to ignore.

Last, but not least, Warner Bros. will release the DVD for Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas. Not surprisingly, this is Looney Tunes' version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with Daffy Duck taking on the Ebenezer Scrooge role. It retails for $19.98 MSRP.

I can't help thinking that if this was a true Looney Tunes Christmas Carol, Bugs would dress up as Mrs. Cratchit, dump a pile of coal on Daffy, then hand him a Tiny Tim doll made out of dynamite. But that's just me.
