The Cartoon Network announced that it will add two new animes from Viz Media to its Toonami programming block on Saturday, December 23rd.

The first, Takeshi Konomi's Prince of Tennis, will show at 10 pm (ET, PT). It follows a young prodigy named Ryoma Echizen as he seeks to become a high school tennis champion. Prince of Tennis is currently one of the most popular anime titles in Japan.

Nobuyuki Anzai's MÄR (which is also known as MÄR Heaven) follows Prince of Tennis at 10:30 pm. It concerns the adventures of a young dreamer by the name of Ginta Toramizu who is magically transported to the world of MÄR Heaven by the mysterious Gate Keeper Clown. There Ginta must lead the war to defend MÄR Heaven from the villainous Chess Piece Army.

Both animes were previously offered online through Toonami's Jetstream service, which I can't access since I'm on a Mac. Oh well, at least I own the cooler computer, according to this.
