A clip featuring the frogs from Disney's Meet the Robinsons gives a lesson in proper movie theatre behaviour.

I really like the "trap flies with honey" attitude that Disney has taken with their campaign to have people turn off their cell phones in movie theatres. Whether it was Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis' bickering moose (from Brother Bear) or Cars' Lightning McQueen losing his concentration thanks to a buzzing cellphone, these spots use a light-hearted approach to remind moviegoers not to interfere with others' enjoyment. And it's a less obtrusive ad to promote Disney's upcoming movie; everybody wins.
Which brings us to the singing frogs from Meet the Robinsons. Sung to the classic R&B chestnut "I Heard it Through the Grapevine," the spot tells the audience to turn off their cellphones and be considerate in a fun and humourous way. "Kick my seat, you annoying man/ I'll be one you like Jackie Chan" goes one of the lyrics. Okay, so there are one or two animation goofs: the drummer's using his second rack tom as the snare, but other than that it's a fun little piece. Check out the tiny hommage to Reservoir Dogs at the end. Nicely done. You can check it out here.
Meet the Robinsons hits theatres on March 30, 2007.
