Animation fans had a reason to watch football: the first trailer for Disney's upcoming Meet the Robinsons aired during the game.
(Source: www.ifilm.com) (First off: congrats to Colts, consolations to Da Bears. I spent Super Bowl XLI watching the French-language version of The Rocket) For those of you who watched the Super Bowl, you got a chance to see the first trailer for Meet the Robinsons. For those of you who didn't, the good folks at iFilm have it for your perusal. Did it rock my world? Definitely some good moments I'm delaying my judgment until this flick actually hits theatres. The trailer certainly is slick enough but you never know: it could just be a compendium for all the best bits in the movie (I hate it when that happens!). Director Stephen J. Anderson's pedigree isn't exactly making me want to check out this flick either. His biggest credits were as an "artistic supervisor for story" on Disney snooze-fests Brother Bear and The Emperor's New Groove. He also worked as a storyboard artist on 1999's Tarzan. Anyway, you can check out the trailer here. Meet the Robinsons opens March 30th.
