Goof or real?

UPDATE,/b>: Sony Pictures admits they made an error: Monster House has a 'PG' rating, not a 'PG-13.' They've since corrected the MPAA symbol on the site.

The website for Sony Pictures' upcoming animated flick Monster House shows that the film received a 'PG-13' rating from the MPAA, instead of the expected 'PG' for "scary images and sequences, thematic elements, some crude humor and brief language." Is this a goof on someone's part, or is Sony and director Robert Zemeckis (a) horning in on Tim Burton's action or (b) calling for serious re-editing to get a more desirable 'PG' rating before the film opens on July 21? Stay tuned for further developments.
