The Muppet Show: Season 2 DVD is slated for release in the Fall of 2006, over a year since the first season was released. No specific date has yet been confirmed. The DVD set was originally set for a February date, but was held back so that producers could "do it right." Disney was reportedly very happy with Season 1's sales, and eventually hopes to release all five seasons on DVD, with a possible Muppet Tonight set to follow.
Fraggle Rock Season 2 is also slated for a September 2006 release.
The Muppet Show Season 2 features such guest stars as John Cleese, Julie Andrews, Elton John, Steve Martin, and ballet legend Rudolf Nureyev.
