NFB animation onlineNational Film Board posts 50 top shorts on their website
Canada's National Film Board puts 50 of their classic animation shorts on their website.
(Source: National Film Board of Canada) Shake my eyeballs and call me Sally. The National Film Board of Canada has placed 50 of their award-winning short films on their website for free viewing. Check out Norman McLaren's Oscar-winning Neighbors, or 1957's A Chairy Tale (with Claude Jutra and Ravi Shankar). There's also Richard Condie's 1985 short The Big Snit or Sheldon Cohen's The Sweater, narrated by Roch Carrier. And don't forget the Oscar-nominated The Cat Came Back. You can hunt for these films either by title or by director. Many of these films are considered classics in animation, and are essential viewing for both young and old alike. Check them out here. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have an afternoon to waste . . .
