Nickelodeon's Third Annual Nicktoons Network Animation Festival has selected its panel of judges, said Nicktoons Network vice-president and general manager Keith Dawkins.
The panel includes Shawn and Marlon Wayans (Thugaboo, Scary Movie 1 & 2), Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, Disney animator Andreas Dreja (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Aladdin), independent animator Bill Plympton (25 Ways to Quit Smoking, The Tune), and last year's Producers Choice and Student Award winner, JG Quintal.
The judges will screen each film, rating them according to story, animation, design, entertainment and fun factor. The grand prize is $10,000.
The films will show on Nicktoons Network and at the network's Web site, nicktoonsnetwork.com.
The Nicktoons festival is still looking for original short animation films. Submissions cannot be longer than 10 minutes in length. Entry forms are at the network's Web site.
