Disney re-releases Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in digital 3D this October.
(Source: Ain't it Cool news) So movie pundits like Omar Aviles (Jo Blo) and Harry Knowles (Ain't It Cool News) think Tim Burton's 1993 stop-motion flick The Nightmare Before Christmas is nothing short of brilliant. So, if I wanted to be cool and stand out from the Interweb lemmings, I should say it sucked the big one. Right? Right? Well PPTTTHHHHHPPPP!!!!! I totally grooved on this flick when I saw it in theatres, and I even bought the vid for multiple friends and family (and yes, they thanked me for it). So when I heard that Disney was putting out The Nightmare Before Christmas in digital 3D, that made my day big-time. Yeah, I'll be there wearing those bizarre 3D glasses that make you look like a 4-year-old who stole Daddy's shades. I just have one request: please, please, PLEASE don't do a half-assed job like Superman Returns in IMAX 3D, where they only 3D'd certain sequences. There's no quicker way to pull me out of a story than having little signs saying "Put on glasses now" and "Remove glasses now" (not that Superman Returns was anything to rave about). So yeah, do the whole show or I will not be happy. Here's the full-screen poster here.
