The Nightmare Before Christmas gets the remastered and 3-D treatment, at selected theatres. Yes, I am officially as giddy as a skelet-um, schoolgirl.
(Source: Joblo.com) I'm getting jazzed over a 2-D trailer for an 11-year-old movie getting released in 3-D. Pretty pathetic, huh? Not if it's Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The trailer's not exactly mind-blowing. Obviously the new effects are lost on your computer screen and, other than a funky new rhyme about the 3-D transference, there's nothing we haven't seen before. But Tim Burton's movie about the denizens of Halloweentown taking over Christmas is a classic for a very good reason. So you can bet that my honey and I will be front-row centre, wearing those funky 3-D glasses, when The Nightmare Before Christmas hits selected theatres October 20. You can heck out the trailer here. You know you want to.
