New York Comic-Con announces 2007 dates, moves to Javits Center.
(Source:icv2.com) The 2007 edition of New York City's Comic-Con will happen in a larger space at the Javits Centre, on February 23-25, Reed Exhibitions has announced. This is in response to the more than 33,000 attendees who thronged the convention this year, causing state troopers halt admissions to prevent overcrowding. The convention had only estimated that 20,000 people would show up. This also means that the NYCC won't conflict with Orlando's Mega-Con, which is what happened this year. Mega-Con will happen on February 16-18. In its first year, the New York Comic-Con became the second largest comic convention in the USA, after San Diego's Comic-Con.
