Open Season IMAX trailer onlineSony/Columbia animated film gets IMAX treatment.IMAX.com has the Open Season trailer. Animated film starring Martin Lawrence, Ashton Kutcher opens September 29.
(Source: IMAX.com) Sony Animation obviously has very high hopes for Open Season if they're paying to show the film on IMAX screens. Me, I'm not so jazzed about this flick: the animation looks solid (better than Barnyard, at least), but the "citified animal forced back into nature" plot has a very familiar feel to it (check out Madagascar or The Wild). And while we're at it, neither Martin Lawrence (Big Momma's House 2) nor Ashton Kutcher (Guess Who) have been very successful at luring yours truly into a movie theatre. Either way, IMAX.com has the Open Season trailer up, featuring much hijinks and Billy Connelly as a Scottish squirrel (Who'da thunk it?). Check it out here.
