The Public Broadcasting System (PBS) has now made several shows available for purchase and download on iTunes' online store.

PBS placed episodes from seven of its award-winning shows on the iTunes website, including Cookie Jar Entertainment's cartoon series Arthur, the Nelvana/Thirteen/WNET New York show Cyberchase, and WGBH Boston's Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman.

Live-action shows posted on iTunes include Antiques Roadshow, the long-running science program Nova, Now, the news show hosted by David Brancaccio, and the Alan Alda-hosted Scientific American Frontiers.

Most episodes will cost $1.99 to download (the standard price of most TV programs on iTunes). The big exception is Nova: each episode will cost $7.99 to download.
