TV Tokyo will air the latest in the Pokémon saga, Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl, on September 28, 2006. This comes shortly after the news that The Cartoon Network will show Pokémon: Battle Frontier this fall. Even though Pokémon isn't the cultural force it once was, the associated video games are very popular, and the collectible card game is a very strong seller.
