22 part Pokemon Chronicles makes its North American debut June 3.
(Source:icv2.com) The Cartoon Network will show the 22 part anime series The Pokemon Chronicles at 7pm (ET, PT) on Saturday, June 3. The Pokemon Chronicles aren't part of the regular Pokemon storyline. They were shown on TV Tokyo during Pokemon's 5th season, and later referred to as the Housou episodes. Pokemon's US distributor 4Kids Entertainment had originally passed on the series, but reconsidered after they successfully aired in Britain and Latin America. The Pokemon Chronicles will show as part of The Cartoon Network's Toonami block. The series will most likely begin with the feature-length (three episode) story The Legend of Thunder.
