New print of classic Miyazaki film packs house at film festival.
(Source: icv2.com) A new print of Hiyao Miyazaki's 1984 animated film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind screened at the 59th Cannes Film festival on May 18 as part of its "Cannes Classics" line-up. According to observers, filmgoers lined up for an hour before the showing, filling the 450-seat theatre beyond capacity. Apparently, the man himself got a major pop when his name appeared on the screen.
