Official Shrek the Third site is online, but with a severe lack of content.
(Source: Coming Soon) When a movie like Shrek 2 hauls in something on the order of $436,471,036 in U.S. theatres, you'd better bet your accountant's toupée that Dreamworks studio bosses will greenlight a sequel. And that brings us to the official site for Shrek the Third. Right now, there's nothing there, just an animated teaser poster, which gives us some indication of what the poster image will look like (let's just say it involves Donkey and Shrek's right hand). The site also tells us that stars Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers will return to their roles. I can also telly you that (take a deep breath now) Antonio Banderas, Rupert Everett, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Justin Timberlake, Eric Idle, John Krasinski, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Amy Sedaris and Ian McShane will be joining them. You can find out more (plus plot details) by clicking here). You can also check out the official site here. Shrek the Third opens May 18, 2007.
