Shrek the Third first trailerDreamWorks animated movie comes out May 18, 2007
First trailer for DreamWorks Animation's Shrek the Third goes heavy on the gags, light on the storyline.
(Source: movies.aol.com) Hey, ho, let's go. The first trailer for Shrek the Third is now online, and it's a moderately amusing affair. Not much with the storyline, but we get to see some fun gags with Pinocchio, Puss in Boots and Donkey doing their schtick (although some of the gags have a déja vu quality to them). Essentially, we have Shrek shanghai-ed into being a king (christening a ship, trying to knight somebody), and his attempts to get out of it. You can also see a glimpse of what Justin Timberlake will look like as Prince Artie. No word as yet as to whether they'll have him sing. Oh yeah, and more of that terrifying threat to God, America and Mom's knuckle sandwich, the Ugly Stepsister (Larry King). Like I said, the trailer's worth checking out, although I have absolutely no freakin' idea what The Ramones' "Do You Remember Rock n' Roll Radio" has to do with Shrek, or anything fairy tale-ish. Oh well, I'll just suspend my disbelief. Check out the trailer here, or you can see it in front of the star-studded family movie Charlotte's Web or the D&D-game-gone-wildly-amuck Eragon. Shrek the Third opens May 18, 2007, starring Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Rupert Everett, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, and Justin Timberlake.
