Fox announces the guest voices for The Simpson's 18th season. New season starts September 10.

Joe Mantegna, Dr. Phil McGraw, Natalie Portman and Kiefer Sutherland will be among those descending on Springfield this year.

The Simpsons, the longest-running American sit-com and the world's longest-running animated TV show, announced their guest voices for this, their 18th season.

Joe Mantegna (The Godfather: Part III) will reprise his role as mob boss Fat Tony for the season premiere. Joe Pantoliano (The Matrix) and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) will guest as Fat Tony's henchmen.

Rock duo The White Stripes will play themselves on the September 17 episode. Bart organizes a benefit concert after his arm is mangled by a tiger Lisa rescued from the local pound.

Dr. Phil, and comedians Fran Drescher and Richard Lewis will guest on this year's Treehouse of Horror Halloween special on November 5.

Kiefer Sutherland (24) will voice a hard-nosed colonel when Homer goes to boot camp on November 12.

Authors Tom Wolfe, Gore Vidal, Michael Chabon and Jonathan Franzen will also come to Springfield, likely at Lisa's request.

There is no word on who will guest voice on The Simpsons' 400th episode, which will air in May 2007.
