Universal Pictures has acquired the movie rights to Boom! Studios comic Tag.
(Source: ICv2) Universal Pictures has acquired the movie rights to Boom! Studios horror comic Tag. Ross Ritchie and Andrew Cosby of Boom! will produce the film, along with Universal producer Marc E. Platt (Legally Blonde). Tag, written by Keith Giffen (Lobo) and illustrated by Kody Chamberlain (30 Days of Night) is about a man who is "tagged" by a total stranger, making him the recipient of an ancient pagan curse. As his body begins to rapidly decompose, he must decide whether to surrender to his fate, or "tag" someone else, thereby passing the curse onto another victim.
