Universal Studios wins 5-way bidding war to win movie rights to Boom Studios' Talent.
(Source: icv2.com) Universal Studios beat out five competitors, including Dreamworks and Warner Bros. Pictures, to gain the movie rights for Boom Studios' graphic novel Talent. Talent is a 4-part miniseries written by Bram Stoker Award winner Christopher Golden and Thomas E. Sniegoski (Vampirella), and illustrated by Paul Azaceta. It's about a 34-year-old college professor who survives a plane crash. He discovers that he has mysteriously gained the talents of those who died in the crash.
