Universal Studios wins 5-way bidding war to win movie rights to Boom Studios' Talent.

Universal Studios beat out five competitors, including Dreamworks and Warner Bros. Pictures, to gain the movie rights for Boom Studios' graphic novel Talent.

Talent is a 4-part miniseries written by Bram Stoker Award winner Christopher Golden and Thomas E. Sniegoski (Vampirella), and illustrated by Paul Azaceta. It's about a 34-year-old college professor who survives a plane crash. He discovers that he has mysteriously gained the talents of those who died in the crash.
