Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit is up for two awards at this year's Children's British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards. The nominees were announced on Tuesday, October 16th.

The stop-motion animated movie, produced by Aardman Animation, is one of four nominees for Best Feature film. It's the lone animated film in this category: up against live action flicks The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

The movie is also nominated for the Kids' Vote award, which is voted on by children under the age of 16. It's up against Disney/Pixar's Cars, Disney's Chicken Little, Fox's Ice Age 2: The Meltdown and Dreamworks' Over the Hedge as well as live-action flicks Superman Returns, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Nanny McPhee, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

Four TV productions were nominated for the Animation category: The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers! (Pesky Ltd/Studio B Productions; CITV), King Arthur's Disasters (Zenith Entertainment Ltd; CiTV); The Koala Brothers Outback Christmas (Spellbound Entertainment Ltd; CBeebies); and Those Scurvy Rascals (Blue-Zoo Productions for Entara; Nickelodeon UK).

The Pre-School Animation nominees are Charlie and Lola (Tiger Aspect Productions; CBeebies), The Koala Brothers (Spellbound Entertainment Ltd; CBeebies), Pocoyo (Granada Kids/Zinkia Entertainment/Cosgrove Hall Films; CiTV), and Postman Pat (Entertainment Rights/Cosgrove Hall Films; CBeebies)

The International Animation nominees are Fairly Odd Parents (Frederator Studios; Nickelodeon UK), Harry and his Bucket Full of Dinosaurs (Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment/Silver Fox Films Ltd/CCI Entertainment; Five), Lazy Town (Lazy Town Productions; Nick Jr), and Spongebob Squarepants (United Plankton Pictures Inc; Nickelodeon UK).

The Children's BAFTA awards will be presented on November 26 in a ceremony held at the London Hilton in Park Lane. Reggie Yates will host the ceremony.

Curse of the Were-Rabbit already won the award for Best British Film at the regular BAFTA's, presented last February.
