Warner Bros. has now joined the iTunes bandwagon, by offering several of its TV shows for legal download on Apple Computer's iTunes website.
The WB dropped 113 episodes of various shows on iTunes, including Hanna-Barbera classic cartoons such as The Flintstones and The Jetsons.
Live action offerings include several episodes of long-running sit-com Friends, sci-fi cult hit Babylon 5, MADtv sketches plus an unaired pilot episode of Aquaman, a potential spin-off of the WB's current show Smallville.
The move is seen as a way to combat illegal downloading, and make money from the WB's back catalog, since DVD sales and TV viewership have stalled.
Each legal download will cost $1.99 and can be viewed either on computer or on an iPod with video capability.
