It's been a while since I posted here. I didn't realize that you hadn't experienced the full flavor of Crayon Shin-Chan while we were having our previous discussion. This is what I was saying before.

Compared to Japan, America is quite repressed in what it considers acceptable for broadcast television. Full frontal nudity and child endangerment/abuse are not uncommon in Japanese television.
